Dear Portsmouth RFC Member

We have arranged a very special event to raise funds for Dementia Support- a local charity based near Chichester that provide a full range of dementia services under one roof. We are holding a dinner with Steve Thompson as the guest speaker. We thought might be of interest to your members and that you might be able to share it for us? All proceeds from the event will be coming to Dementia Support and will help our services.

Steve Thompson, England’s 2003 Rugby World Cup-winning hooker is hosting a special dinner raising funds for Dementia Support. Steve will be signing copies of his new book “Unforgettable” where he details his battle against early-onset dementia. Steve was diagnosed with early-onset dementia in November 2020 with suspected chronic traumatic encephalopathy. All proceeds from the event will go to Dementia Support to provide dementia services at Sage House and across the community.

The Evening Includes:

  • A copy of “Unforgettable” by Steve Thompson
  • Book signing with meet and greet
  • Pre-dinner speech and Q&A with Steve
  • 2-course dinner
  • Raffle in aid of Dementia Support
